Each element of the cage was verified using FEM simulations, which allowed the forces acting during a collision to be modeled. This ensures that the structure not only increases driver and passenger safety but also significantly stiffens the body, improving the car’s handling characteristics. In addition, it allowed for a reduction in overall weight without compromising strength. The complete cage weighs 33 kg. Its carefully engineered design gives the classic Mustang a sporty character and a new level of protection – both on the track and in everyday driving. It is the perfect solution for enthusiasts of classic cars who want to combine authentic style with modern safety standards for both road and racing use. The tubes were cut using 3D laser technology, ensuring a perfect fit. Welding was carried out with the TIG technique. Upon customer request, the product can be painted in any color.
