Read moreThe Mustang Gen 6 has great potential, but during hard launches, corner exits, or dynamic driving, the rear axle can become nervous and does not always keep up with what the engine delivers. Wheel hop, loss of stability under load, and limited control over rear suspension geometry are problems that can take away driving confidence even from a well-prepared driver.
The Restomotive adjustable rear upper control arm “Banana” was designed to stiffen and stabilize rear axle operation, improve geometry control, and reduce wheel hop at its source. It is a solution for drivers who want the Mustang’s power to be transferred to the road more effectively – both during dynamic road driving and in more demanding performance-oriented builds.
Precise adjustment: Allows precise rear axle geometry adjustment for street, track, or drift use.
Structural rigidity: CNC-machined 7075-T651 aluminum construction increases stiffness compared to the factory solution.
Uniball technology: Spherical bearing technology replaces the soft rubber bushing, improving suspension response and feedback from the rear axle.
40HMT steel turnbuckle: Provides high strength, stable adjustment, and resistance to deformation under load.
Wheel hop reduction: More stable control arm operation helps reduce rear axle hop during hard launches.
The Restomotive adjustable rear upper control arm for the Ford Mustang Gen 6 replaces the factory suspension component with a more rigid and precise construction, designed to provide better control of rear axle operation.
Instead of the factory cast component and soft rubber bushing, it uses a CNC- machined part made from 7075-T651 aluminum and Uniball spherical bearings.
Control arm length adjustment is carried out using a turnbuckle made from 40HMT steel, allowing precise rear axle geometry adjustment. High-strength 40HMT steel ensures adjustment stability, resistance to deformation, and secure retention of settings under load.
Intermediate. Intended for installation by qualified personnel.
