Aerodynamics Under Control, Part 3: Mustang S550 with a Rear Wing in CFD Analysis
In the first part of the series, we analyzed the stock Ford Mustang GT 5.0 S550. In the second part, we added canards and…
Read moreRestomotive canards are an aerodynamic element designed to increase front-axle downforce and improve the stability of the Mustang GT at high speeds. We design them to be the perfect complement to the front splitter, optimizing airflow around the sides of the bumper and wheel arches.
Increased Downforce: A specially selected angle of attack for the dive planes generates additional downforce, improving front-wheel grip in high-speed corners.; Aerodynamic Balance: An ideal solution for cars equipped with a large rear wing, helping to balance the downforce across the entire bodywork.; Durable Construction: We are working on a material that combines low weight with high rigidity to ensure the canards do not deform under air pressure.; Aggressive Design: Beyond their technical function, the canards give the Mustang an uncompromising, track-ready look inspired by GT4 racing series.
